Welcome to Got Nothing For Ya, a place for me to discuss the reality television competition show Survivor and dive into the world of Edgic.

I am admittedly a new fan of Survivor. My first season was Survivor Panama– Exile Island after falling in love with Cirie Fields on the first US season of The Traitors. Over the past couple of years I’ve gone back to old seasons between watching Survivor 46 and Survivor 47 live.

Despite the New Era of Survivor lacking previous seasons’ early 2000’s reality TV je ne sais quoi and novelty, I still get a lot of enjoyment from watching the new seasons along with my partner and friends. Recently we’ve started a Single Elimination Pool, which has been a lot of fun. My competitiveness and struggle to just be a casual fan of anything led me to stumble upon Edgic, the process by which viewers try to quantify and read into the edit to pick out the winner. Last season I tried to apply some Edgic principles to my choices in the Single Elimination Pool but fell short. Moving forward I want to try my hand at Edgic charts and write ups alongside the live seasons to see if I can improve my Single Elimination Pool odds.

Additionally I’ll share my thoughts on any pertinent Survivor news and review old seasons I may be watching. So follow along and see who I’ll be saying “Got Nothing For Ya” to each episode!
